Join the celebration of our Back to Back Stanley Cup Champions – The Florida Panthers – On Sunday, June 22 at 12 p.m. at Fort Lauderdale Beach! The Championship parade along A1A will begin at Riomar Street and will conclude just north of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park (across from Hotel Maren) at SE 5th Street where the formal rally on stage will take place!

This is your chance to see the Stanley Cup and entire Florida Panthers team, their families and organization as they make their way through the iconic Fort Lauderdale Beach.  Last year’s parade (even with the heavy downpours) was estimated at 200,000 – This year’s celebration is anticipated to be even larger .. Especially given a more favorable weather forecast.

Pro Tips:

  • Parade begins: 12:00 Noon, Sunday June 22
  • Downtown Residents: Expect heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic, especially heading east towards the beach and around all parking garages
  • Want the most energetic views along the parade route?  The intersection of Las Olas Blvd and A1A, and northbound for several blocks
  • The big red bus caravan will likely be heading towards the beach on Sunrise Boulevard (presumably staging at the IcePlex at Holiday Park) – If you are trying to avoid the largest crowds, you may be able to see them this way as well
  • Anywhere on Fort Lauderdale beach South of Riomar Street will offer a spectacular vantage point of the parade
  • Parking in downtown city garages AND of course by the beach will fill up FAST!
  • Traffic heading towards the beach from all directions will be intense.  PLAN AHEAD!
  • Have sensitive ears?  Consider bringing ear plugs
  • Along the parade route: First aid tents and free bottled water stations
  • Remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and rotate into the shade when possible
  • The parade culminates on the sand just north of B Ocean Resort, where the stage and rally will be held
  • Expect road closures: A1A along the beach (parade route), 1 lane only on Las Olas Blvd
  • Food and beverage vendors will be available in different locations
  • Watch From Above:  All beachfront hotel pool decks will have an incredible elevated view of the parade
  • Ride sharing services will be charging surge pricing before and after the parade – Plan accordingly
  • Plan a full day at the beach, long after the show ends at 3 PM, to avoid the bulk of departing traffic
  • Water Taxi service is offering direct $15 rides from various locations beginning 8:00 AM
  • City parking garages are offering flat fee $10 parking for the day
