Florida’s Spiny Lobster Season Begins today, Aug 6!
Today’s the day – Spiny lobster season has begun in Florida! The regular season stretches Aug 6 to Mar 31 and follows the recent mini season July 29-30.
The daily bag limit is 6 per person (with a license) and each carapace must be larger than 3″, measured in the water. A recreational saltwater fishing license and lobster permit are required, unless exempt. Each lobster must be landed in whole condition and separating the tail from the body while at sea is prohibited.
