The neighborhood of Tarpon River (also has a river named after it) is bordered on the north and west by the New River, on the south by Davie Blvd and is west of Andrews Ave. The Tarpon River, as it’s name suggests, runs directly through the community which features heavily shaded canopies of mature trees and lush vegetation.

Located just across the River (to the north) is the Broward Center for Performing Arts, the Museum of Discovery and Science, Esplanade Park and more.

Due to the many waterfront homes along the New River, Tarpon River is a popular neighborhood for homeowners with boats given direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and Ocean via the New River.

Seeking quick access to the highway? The south side of the Tarpon River neighborhood sits on Davie Blvd which boasts access to I-95 in as little as 1-2 minutes (traffic permitting, of course). It doesn’t get much more convenient than that.
