Mark your calendars for a world record attempt – This Saturday, July 24 at Huizenga Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Sangria Saturday returns 12pm – 8pm, benefiting Good Karma Pet Rescue.

The event features the Pet Promenade, Food Court, Beverages, Market, Live Music and of course – Sangria served from 3 gigantic, 50 gallon barrels filled with Authentic Spanish Red, White and Rosé Sangria. The world record attempt is to create the Largest Sangria Party in the World – Last set in Puerto Rico, March 2012 with 2,312 attendees.

That means in order to set the newest world record, the event needs 2,313 attendees. C’mon Fort Lauderdale and South Florida – We’ve got this!
