Coral Ridge is a popular Fort Lauderdale neighborhood just northeast of downtown. It consists of approximately 1,300+ properties. While there are some condos, duplexes and townhouses in Coral Ridge, the majority of homes are single family properties that sit on nicely sized lots. Bayview Elementary School is highly rated and is a strong selling point for the community.

The community is located in between Sunrise Blvd to the south, Oakland Blvd to the north … And in between the Intracoastal Waterway (east) and Middle River / US1 to the west.

Bayview Drive runs through the center of Coral Ridge from north to south – Connecting Oakland Park Blvd to Sunrise Blvd.

The majority of homes on the east side of Bayview Drive boast waterfront lots with no fixed bridges and direct ocean access to the Intracoastal Waterway, which connects directly to the Atlantic Ocean.

On the west side of Bayview Drive, there are some waterfront homes and plenty of dry lot homes. The waterfront homes west of Bayview are located on the Middle River, which has a fixed bridge (Sunrise Blvd) that prevents boats over certain sizes from accessing the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean.

Homes in Coral Ridge are just minutes from an abundance of restaurants, shops, parks, the Galleria Mall, Coral Ridge Mall, Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Coral Ridge Country Club. Most of this is accessible from US1 which travels north to south in parallel to (and just west of) the Coral Ridge community.

Two public parks are conveniently located within walking distance to homes in Coral Ridge – George English Park (includes a boat ramp) and Bayview Park (includes various sport facilities and a children’s playground). Directly east across the Intracoastal Waterway is Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.
