It’s almost here … the annual Fort Lauderdale Downtown Countdown on New Years Eve! Times Square has the Ball Drop, Key West has the Shoe Drop, Fort Lauderdale has the iconic ANCHOR DROP! If you’ve never been, it’s definitely something you want to experience at least once.
Pro Tips:
- Arrive early
- Uber or walk, parking & traffic will be complicated
- Many thousands will be attending
- If driving, the city parking lots/garages will reach capacity EARLY
- Food & beverage vendors will be available on the street
- If desiring a smaller (yet still large) countdown location, the YOLO / O-Lounge Plaza on Las Olas Blvd is another extremely popular location
- Most importantly .. Be Safe!
