Sunrise Key and Sunrise Intracoastal are two distinct neighborhoods located directly across the water from one another.  Commonly referred to as the Sunrise neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, these communities are not to be confused with the city of Sunrise, which is a suburb in Broward County about 25 minutes west. The island of Sunrise Key is accessible via a single and discreet, gated road which is aptly named Sunrise Key Blvd.
